Thanks to everyone that participated in another successful and well-attended FNHPS summer Auction this year.  The auction is a well run and enjoyable event that sets a high standard for Fleet and North Hants Philatelic Society. It would not be successful without so many members contributing.

Special thanks to Mike Czuczman for organising the auction, and also to Tony and Francis for keeping track of the bidding and collecting all the money and the administration.

Thanks to Mike Harris, John Sandey and Jan Hagara who helped set out the chairs and auction lots on the tables, and to Kate and Jane who expertly managed the viewing tables helped by John and Pat; and again Pat for organising the refreshments. Thanks to all helpers handing out the auction lots including John, Jan, Pam and Pat and special mention to Jan who worked well in to the afternoon despite having his nephew to stay; and to the many of you who stayed right to the end to put away lots, chairs and tables.

FNHPS holds one auction each year, usually in early June, with appoximately 800 lots on offer. Whilst it may contain just about anything philatelic, it is well known for normally having a large section of Collections, Mixtures, duplicates and box lots. Lots are restricted to items estimated at £5 upwards. The auction is well attended (approximately 100 regular buyers in the room), catalogues are also sent to regional societies and just under 1000 previous postal bidders.

Should you consider entering material please contact the auction manager who will let you have the rules and Vendor Form. Material is required and accepted during February 2016.
